Now that you have all of your sweet sweet loots, you need to expand to get, unsurprisingly, more loots! This will inevitably get you into wars with your peers, but it will also allow your civilization to grow. The other two can come in later, when you know a little better what you're doing. These four resources are the most vital to your growth. You will now make 5 knowledge an hour for the next 56 days. Pick any space not taken up by your ample farming business and right click him. Right click your shack, make a carpenter. Your empire is now ready to grow.īut what is a kingdom without knowledge? Knowledge allows culture to flourish, allows new things to be built. This gets you 60 iron per hour until it runs out. Move him in front of the ore vein and right click him. Nestled at the roots of one is an iron deposit, ripe for the mining. Your men grow hungry and look to you to provide nourishment. You arrive in your starting safe realm, with a small iron deposit, trees, and plenty of space to build whatever you like. How fun that is for a new player I can't say, but the hardcore/unfair nature of the game may be appealing to some unphased by the staggering entry requirements. Put simply, the more you play the more resources you get, and the stronger you become. Ironfell encourages players to gain an unfair advantage. Players will even eventually blast off into space. Ironfell offers players a staggering 64 units and structures to build with the promise of even more units in a future expansion including dinosaurs, time machines and two new resource types. The game is very much a sandbox MMO with everything ingame created by the players themselves. Its a hex-based 2D MMORTS whereby players can expand their kingdom, trade with other players, cross vast oceans and of course fight for the chance to continue expanding said kingdom.
